  • County Attorneys, Assistant County Attorneys, and Deputy County Attorneys
Annual membership forms are available in an online format for easy submission.  Please complete all the forms below.  If you need assistance, reach out to Melissa Flachsbarth.

Annual Renewal Process

1. Renew your membership by email or at kcdaa.org.

In mid-November, the main contact for your office listed in our system as the coordinator will get an automatic email notice and invoice. You can pay the invoice by check or use the link to pay online. The coordinator can also log in at kcdaa.org to complete the renewal process.

During the renewal process, please take a moment to determine the number of attorneys within your office as dues are based on the number of attorneys.  To change or update the number of attorneys, the coordinator can log in to the KCDAA website and update the membership level in the profile.

Support staff can be added to your membership for no charge, so they are notified of events and other items of importance by e-mail. If you add support staff, please ensure you include an email address.

Dues for the calendar year cover all publications, newsletters, and other services provided by the KCDAA.

NOTE: Your dues for the NDAA are billed separately and paid directly to NDAA, not through KCDAA.

See more information below for details on how to make updates to your member list.

If you need assistance with updates, reach out to Melissa Flachsbarth directly.

If your office would like to make a voluntary donation to the Kansas Prosecutors Foundation during your renewal process, you can donate online here.

2. Submit online forms and reports required by KCDAA and Kansas Law.

  • ASSIGNMENT OF TRAINING FUNDS FORM - for the County or District attorney to complete

Each KCDAA member is required to designate a minimum of fifty percent (50%) of funds received for training purposes each year to the Kansas Prosecutor Training and Assistance Institute (KPT&AI). This assignment form reflects your financial obligation to the Institute and allows you to be a member of KCDAA according to the association policies.

Once you submit this form, you will get a copy automatically by email.  You MUST forward that email to your County Treasurer. Then they have to fill out an acknowledgement form indicating they received it. The County Treasurer will be responsible for distributing the funds to KPT&AI.

This annual report information (reporting period Jan.1-Dec. 31, 2025) will be used to compile an annual report that is required by law to submit to the Attorney General.

This confidential survey will be used as a method of tracking statistical information for our members and organization use.
